June 7, 2011 – Homemade ice-cream in Bhaktapur’s market.
After inserting two toothpicks in the ice-cream, the seller rolls it vigorously for a couple of seconds so that it can be removed from the metal container. Because the ice-cream was a bit salty on the outside, we think salt was probably put on the inside of the container for the same reason.
